Joseph R. Ecke is a managing member of Shipp Ecke, PLLC. His practice is focused on car wrecks, commercial motor vehicle accidents, wrongful death, and medical malpractice.

Joe received his Bachelor of Business Administration in General Business at the University of Texas at San Antonio and earned his law degree at St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas, where he graduated cum laude. While at St. Mary’s, he was a staff writer for St. Mary’s Law Journal, where his law review comment, “Medical Professionals and the DTPA” was selected for publication in the Summer 2011 edition of the Journal of Consumer & Commercial Law, the official publication of the Consumer & Commercial Law Section of the State Bar of Texas published by the University of Houston Law Center.

Joe founded Shipp Ecke, PLLC in 2014 after working for a complex commercial litigation firm in Boerne, Texas and after working as a solo attorney for two years.

Joe has first-chaired over ten jury trials to verdict, has handled over ten appeals with favorable results, settled hundreds of cases for his clients, and prides himself on personally managing each one of his clients’ cases.
